Forget that the athletes are no longer amateurs, forget that athletes sulk over silver medals, forget that NBC can't seem to get the coverage right, forget the schisms (real or imagined) that exist between teammates, forget the politics and forget all the medal counts! This is MY olympics...the faces of overjoyed, patriotic kids!! Don't tell them, "It's only a bronze!"

Why I love the Olympic Games
Forget that the athletes are no longer amateurs, forget that athletes sulk over silver medals, forget that NBC can't seem to get the coverage right, forget the schisms (real or imagined) that exist between teammates, forget the politics and forget all the medal counts!
